This TDS Tester uses an amperometric graphite electrode for precise measurements since it does not oxidise. An amperometric measurement of EC/TDS is based on Ohm’s Law l + V/R, where R depends on the distance between two pins and their surface. The non-oxidizing graphite pins ensure an accurate surface for dependable results.
For calibration, simply submerge the electrode tip in the calibration solution and the meter will automatically calibrate.
