Whether you manage a hot tub showroom, a leisure park, holiday let or a private spa, routine water checks are essential. This test offers fast, on-site screening of water systems for Legionella pneumophila, helping you:

• Monitor high-risk areas more frequntly
• Identify early warning signs

What This Test Kit Detects:

• Detects Legionella pneumophila serogroups 1-12 (SG1-12). 
• These are the most common strains found in spa and environmental systems
• Does not detect serogroups 13-15 (SG13-15)

Detection Sensitivity:

• Limit of Detection (LOD): 5.88 ng/ml
• Effective for identifying elevated antigen levels in water
• Results in minutes - no lab equipment required

Important: Know the Limitations

To meet UK HSE guidance (ACOP L8, paragaph 76(c)), the following should be understood before using:

• This test is for screening puposes only
• It is not a repacement for laboraory culture or PCR testing
• It does not meet UKAS accreditation standads
• Use results as a preliminary indications, not a final determination

For any regulatory or compliance testing, laboratory methods must be used.
