Many believe that Spatex signals the beginning of a new season as the exhibition is widely used to launch new products and prices. It is fair to say that our season started much earlier, we have had a very promising start to the season and long may this positive trend continue.

The show attendance was marginally down this year on previous years but the number of exhibitors was at an all time high.

Despite this lower attendance we had an excellent show with more dealer enquiries than any other previous year, with many coming from long standing retailers. This gives a clear indication of the great reputation that Catalina has established.

At Spatex Brighton 2008 we exhibited the XL4000CD, Premium Elite 600CD and the new Premium Elite 700CD and New Premium 300CD, in addition, we had on display 5 of our new Eurospa Range. This spread of products and prices proved to be a huge success. Furthermore we had a selection of products from the Covervalet™ spa accessory line that included steps, coverlifters, grab rails and spa umbrellas.

We have sent you our 2008 price list that is effective immediately. We ask you to note a number of changes on the Catalina price list and to assist we provide the following overview:

• Premium 200 is an update of the 207 version now featuring the Balboa M7 Control system.
• Premium 300 is an update of the 307 version and now featuring the Balboa M7 control system with a re-engineered jet and plumbing system for better perfomance.
• NEW! Premium 300 CD (as the Premium 300 above) featuring the Balboa M7 control system and now includes a Kenwood stereo, topside music controls and iPod/mp3 connection.
• Premium 500 as last years Premium 507 now fitted with the Balboa M7 control system.
• Premium Elite 600 CD, an update of the Premium 507 Elite, now fitted with the Balboa M7 control systems and also features Kenwood CD/Radio, Topside music control and iPod/mp3 connections as well as a perimeter 16 Led light system.
• NEW! Premium Elite 700 CD 5 person stunning spa with 16 LED perimeter lighting, lounger, recliner and 46 jets offering the ultimate massage. This spa features quad sound system, topside music control and iPod/mp3 connection. The new M7 Balboa control system ensures it has the very latest in operating systems. We have also added Turbo to this model. It represents excellent value for money at £6750.00 inc VAT!!!! (RRP)
• XL 4000 CD proved to be our most popular model and again represents excellent value for money. When a spa is as good as this there is not much we can do to improve it! So we have added iPod/mp3 connection.
• XL 6000 This model remains unchanged other than having the iPod/mp3 connection upgrade.
• NEW! XL 7000 CD. This is an all seated version of the XL 6000, truly stunning spa offering comfortable bathing for 7 people. As per the 6000 a quad sound system but now upgraded to include iPod/mp3 connection.
• XL 20000, again this popular spa remains unchanged other than the upgrade with the iPod/mp3 connection.
• XL 26000, also remains unchanged other than the upgrade with the iPod/mp3 connection.

You will note we have a number of spas for special order.

• The XL26 DVD, this is an upgraded version of the last years 17 inch TV spa and now features a whopping 26-inch screen, 16 LED perimeter lights and iPod/mp3 connections. All this and we have reduced the price!!
• The Omega 26 is an upgraded version of last year’s 22-inch TV spa now featuring a 26-inch screen and iPod/mp3 connections.
• Theatre spa, this absolutely unique product now upgraded with iPod/mp3 connection has also had a price reduction!
• 16’ Swimspas available in 2 formats, either as a Trainer or a Swimspa, both have options of the elite package offering LED lighting and a quad sound system and yes – iPod/mp3 connection!
• NEW! Exercise spa is a new addition to the range featuring an open plan spa with 1 dedicated seat for exercise. The spa features in-built rowing equipment.
• Avalon. We were asked to keep a round spa in the range.

NEW! BROCHURE

We have produced a completely new Catalina catalogue/brochure for 2008 featuring all the spa models; we are currently awaiting images of the new TV spa before going to print. We anticipate these to arrive imminently. In the meantime the draft pages are available in pdf format, please speak to any of the team for copies of this.

NEW! Warranty

Applicable to 2008 models, Catalina UK will now offer the service of undertaking all warranty work. For those companies that still wish to handle their own warranty the situation will remain unchanged, we will continue to reimburse for any works undertaken*. We will soon be sending out details of the new 2008 warranty scheme, which is a further indication of our confidence in the reliability of the Catalina range.
